Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur growing construction company is looking for a reliable and capable general laborer to join our team. You’ll follow the project foreman’s direction to prepare job sites, load and unload material, remove debris, help team members, and do any other tasks to ensure the customer is satisfied with our work. $17.50 - $21 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload and prepare any tools or materials on site that will be used to complete the build, so the crew can operate efficiently
  • Support tradespeople and heavy equipment workers to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing and any other aspect of the project
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure you and your team members are free from injury
  • Ensure that all materials, tools and other debris from the build have been removed at the end of the project to make sure the work site is clean
  • Remove any trash, debris or hazardous materials from the area to prep the site before construction begins
  • Mowing of lawns, weeding, trimming, and planting of various plants and trees
Qualifications:
  • Should have general knowledge of building and construction, but we are willing to provide training
  • Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination, good balance, and have the physical strength to be able to do the work
  • Preference to candidates with experience using construction equipment such as forklift and power tools
