Accounting Manager Opportunity

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This includes the preparation of financial statements, analysis of financial data, and the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Manage month-end and year-end close process
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Responsible for the day-to-day aspects of GL and Accounts Payable
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Review accounting transactions, GL accounts, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
  • Manage and develop a team of 1-2 accounting staffs
  • Oversee the budgeting process
  • Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders about financial matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably 2 years in a managerial role
  • Excellent Excel proficiency
  • Proficiency in accounting software (ie. SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics AX, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary is $100,000 to $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
