Job Descriptio  We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in planning and executing events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Events Manager to coordinate logistics, manage budgets, and provide outstanding customer service to attendees. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the events industry and develop your skills in event planning and management.

Pay: $21.50 - $31.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including researching venues, coordinating with vendors, and managing event timelines.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations for attendees.
  • Manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with event marketing and promotion, including creating event materials, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating with media partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution and align event goals with overall company objectives.
  • Assist in post-event evaluation, including gathering feedback from participants, analyzing event success metrics, and identifying areas for improvement.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all event-related tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in event management software and platforms, such as Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and react calmly under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required for event execution.
  • Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
