Overview:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of EMR data using statistical and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create SQL queries and data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI) to generate reports and dashboards and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to improve clinical quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that support decision-making processes and align with organizational goals.
  • Support the organization’s strategic initiatives through data-driven approaches. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve patient care outcomes, operational efficiencies, and resource allocation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare analytics and data science.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis and proactive identification of opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analysis.
  • Communicate complex data findings effectively to diverse audiences within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare data analysis and predictive modeling strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python), database querying languages (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and big data analytics preferred.
