Enhanced Service Specialist I

Warner Pacific – Multi State

The Enhanced Service Specialist will work closely with seasoned/experienced Account Managers, gathering information on assigned clients (e.g. Client questionnaires and census data) assisting with data entry into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Ensuring prompt and accurate responses to client’s questions. Building a strong relationship with client, carriers, through a variety of communication channels, report on the status of accounts, coordinate with seasoned/experiences Account Managers to create customized marketing materials for their clients. Process new hire, terminations, changes for client. Promote new products to clients (e.g. Ancillary lines of coverage).

Overview of Responsibilities

Successfully completed the required basic training. Ability to perform all job functions independently; including but not limited to:

  • Process renewals at the direction of the seasoned Account Manager.
  • Maintain and update client data in multiple CRM systems (Salesforce, BenefitPoint, Brokerage Builder, Etc., including internal system GAIT.
  • Operate internal and external computerized systems to obtain and extract information, documents, activities and changes for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
  • Follow up with carriers on paid to date, new hires, terminations, etc.
  • Review and process new enrollments, terminations, when necessary.
  • Ability to establish and build rapport with clients.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Additional Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma; advanced education or degree preferred.
  • Must maintain CA Life & Health License by timely renewing license and completing all requires Continuing Education courses.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in CA time zone business hours.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate the use of computer system, computer programs and office equipment as necessary, including ability to type a minimum of 30-35 wpm and proficiency in the use of a 10 key.
  • Ability to work on site (in the office) a minimum of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, generally with shift start times between 8:00-8:30 a.m., as determined by senior management .
  • Ability to attend interoffice meetings.
  • Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested by senior management.
  • High level planning, organizing and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a pleasant, cordial, and professional demeanor when negotiating with coworkers and customers; especially when dealing with a heated situation.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and remain calm when faced with requests, demands and deadlines.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, lift a minimum of 5 pounds, file, sit, stand, bend, reach, pull.

Compensation

  • Salary Range* - $20.44/hrly- 27.76/hrly.
  • Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level.
  • * The salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
