Informatics Nurse Manager

A well-respected, award-winning Community Hospital in Northwestern Washington State has an exciting opportunity for an Informatics Nurse Manager.
This reputable, full-service Community Hospital has been recognized for its outstanding quality patient care. The Informatics Nurse Manager will join a fantastic Health System that offers career growth and advancement.
The Informatics Nurse Manager will function as the expert authority and point of contact with clinical technology issues within the hospital.
The Informatics Nurse Manager will be responsible for the strategic vision, development, and management of the hospital’s Electronic Health Record as well as other medical information systems related to patient care. Serving as a liaison, between the Information Technology Department and the Provider Community, the Informatics Nurse Manager will help communicate and translate the needs of the providers into IT deliverables.
The Informatics Nurse Manager will serve on IT Committees within the hospital to lead hospital IT initiatives and collaborate with IT professionals and Senior Hospital Leadership to create and carry out the strategic vision for the hospital’s information management systems and electronic health record system. The Informatics Nurse Manager makes executive decisions on the management of the Electronic Health Record and the other medical IT systems that will positively impact physician satisfaction, and patient and community care.
