What will you be doing?

  • Inspect facility to identify safety, health and environmental risks, develop and implement inspection policies, procedures and schedule of routine inspections, draft inspection reports to document findings.
  • Develop health and safety procedures, plan implement and conduct training for employees in work site safety practices.
  • Maintain safety files, OSHA logs, MSDS library, environmental reports, and permits as well as records of discharge of, or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
  • Manage forklift program, certifies employees, license record keeping.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, OSH, or related.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with EHS in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Extensive knowledge of Safety Work Experience, OSHA, and CalOSHA regulations, EPA regulations, and Cal ARP, RMP, and PSM (Ammonia program), 5 years min.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification preferred.
