About the Role

BSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consulting services, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on environmental, health, and safety matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage staff, projects, and clients to deliver high-quality EHS services
  • Grow BSI's market presence through the acquisition of new clients, programs, and projects
  • Develop and implement EHS programs at a site level, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regulatory requirement audits, accident investigations, and hazard recognition and analysis
  • Create and maintain hazard communication and chemical safety programs
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training
  • Perform EHS inspections and assessments, including IH, PPE, and machine guarding
  • Conduct construction site EHS audits to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Partner with clients to develop or audit safety management systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business, report, and program writing
  • Solid track record of consultative selling services and solutions in a professional services environment
  • Ability to research, gather, and organize data from multiple sources
  • Ability to plan and implement projects
  • Ability to support clients around their designated office and periodically travel to support clients, staff, other BSI offices in the Southwest region and the US

The salary for this position can range from $99,000 to $140,000 annually, based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
