What’s a typical day as a Mechanical Assembly Technician? You’ll be:


  • \t
  • Reading, using, and understanding mechanical schematic drawings
    \t
  • Fitting, filing, drilling, and assembling MPI boxes, panels, or performing a wide variety of diversified and difficult mechanical assemblies
    \t
  • Assembling electrical components, terminals, and push buttons in a predetermined order
    \t
  • Reading enclosure/panel fabrication drawings with bill-of-materials
    \t
  • Wiring electrical panels, instrumentation, and devices and conducting point-to-point testing


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:


  • \t
  • Have 1+ years of experience in mechanical assemblies
    \t
  • Idealy have experience in, Millwright, Conveyor Installations, Mechanical Assembly, Control Panel Building, Airframe Mechanic, Install Technicians experience preferred.
    \t
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
    \t
  • Have basic mathematical skills and the ability to interpret graphs and diagrams
    \t
  • Are proficient in operating a personal computer and using Windows-based operating systems and related software
    \t
  • Can read and understand visual aids, as well as simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
