Position Overview

Salary: $17/hr

Our manufacturing facility is seeking a dedicated Equipment Assembly Technician to provide exceptional service to our clientele. The role involves working weekdays from 6am to 2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, and disassemble commercial dishwashing and chemical dispensing machinery utilizing both hand and power tools.
  • Clean previously used equipment with high-pressure sprayers, sandblasters, and chemical dip tanks, while assessing components for usability.
  • Conduct quality control inspections as directed.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to production reporting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the plant and surrounding areas to promote a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Engage in team meetings, contributing insights for safety, production, and process enhancements.
  • Assist in training new employees on assigned tasks as per supervisor instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding production requirements and troubleshooting.
  • Transport parts and materials throughout the facility using various methods, including manual lifting and forklifts (if certified).
  • Perform inventory counts as required.
  • Report any accidents or near-miss incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and/or technical skills.
  • Ability to utilize hand tools and lift weights up to 70 lbs.
