Staffing Network has partnered with a leading company in the plastics manufacturing industry to seek Injection Mold Operators for their operations. This full-time position offers opportunities for growth and development within the manufacturing sector.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROCESS TECH:

  • Set Molds, startup and shut down injection molding machine, and understand complex functions of the injection molding process as specified by work order or setup parameter sheet and meeting all requirements such as correct sequence, proper setup, shutdown, Perform machine testing during and after setup. Install and test machine monitor equipment and safety devices.
  • Troubleshoot and correct a variety of issues. Monitor machine performance to optimize processes and resolve problems. Escalate complex problems.
  • Assists in root cause analysis on machine issues and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. Write maintenance work orders for part quality and general machine issues.
  • Identify and document process parameters (such as hot runner controls).
  • Ensures machines, tools, molds, critical surfaces, and general workspace is clean and orderly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS OF PROCESS TECH:

  • Education High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of general manufacturing experience
  • Certification / Licensure Master Molder I or equivalent eDart Template or equivalent

 

Shift: Rotating schedule (2 on 2 off) with 12-hour shifts AM or PM starting at 6:45

Pay:$20- $28/ HR DOE (MUST HAVE INJECTION MOLDING EXPERIENCE)
