Length of Assignment: Full-Time Opportunity – 1-year contract with an option to extend
Location: Akron, OH
Confidentiality Requirements:
Will handle Private Personal Information (PPI), Company Sensitive Information, and Credit Sensitive Information.
Top Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft programs and strong personal computer skills.
Experience with SAP is required.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple activities and resources efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise considerable discretion in duties.
Advanced skills in using spreadsheet and word processing software.
Soft Skill Requirements:
Ability to work effectively within a team setting and handle changing workloads.
Ability to collaborate and resolve discrepancies with a variety of administrative and professional employees, both within and outside the company.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
Understanding of payment processes and a background in administrative work.
High-Level Project Overview:
This role will assist with the tracking, monitoring, and payment of invoices for vendor-related costs. Additional administrative tasks will include updating and managing spreadsheets, accessing various databases, and completing simple transactions. This role involves clerical and administrative duties that support specific workflow or phases within a business process, performing routine and repetitive tasks according to established policies, procedures, and detailed instructions.
Duties include:
Collecting, compiling, and analyzing information and data.
Providing information in response to inquiries.
Maintaining and preparing reports and charts.
Performing general alphabetic and numeric filing, sorting, and cross-referencing.
Updating files, records, and logs according to established procedures.
Ensuring information and reports are complete and consistent with specific rules or procedures.
Preferred Years of Experience:
5 to 7 years of office experience.
Education Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Industry Experience:
Candidates with experience in the utilities industry are preferred.
