Relief Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY: Maximize every opportunity to increase sales and distribution of all Markstein Sales Company products while maintaining a high level of customer service and product quality. Constructs and displays prefabricated displays for point of sale merchandise and product on sales floor of retail establishments to attract attention of prospective customers.
Job duties: (not a comprehensive list)
• Assigned to cover sales areas in relief for vacations, illness, and high volume.
• Travel through temporarily assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on the sales floor.
• Sell beer to off-premise and/or on premise retail accounts when needed.
• Sustain proper inventory levels at retail accounts to ensure there are no out-of-stock/over-stock situations.
• Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history and reports.
• Stock, rotate and check for quality control of all MSCo products.
Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• One (1) year of selling or merchandising experience (preferred)
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule
Shift start: 5:00AM
Shift length: 9 hours
