Job Overview

Markstein Sales Company is a leading wholesale beverage distributor with a rich history dating back to 1919. As a Relief Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts in Alameda County, ensuring the successful distribution of our products and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide relief sales support in assigned territories, covering vacations, illness, and high-volume areas.
  • Travel to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and discuss sales floor opportunities.
  • Sell beer to off-premise and/or on-premise retail accounts as needed.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels at retail accounts to prevent out-of-stock/over-stock situations.
  • Make informed decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history and reports.
  • Ensure quality control of all MSCo products.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks, and be attentive to details.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation
