Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Central Vermont Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Clinical Role:
- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitioner
- Must have post training experience in psychiatric or substance abuse (willing to consider RN experience)
- Need is ASAP
- X-Waiver a plus, not required
- Work schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Patient Census: 20-25 patients per day
- Outpatient Clinic Setting
- Provide medication evaluation and management, with ongoing monitoring
- Conduct clinical evaluations and physical health screenings, refer out as needed
- Provide MAT services; prescribe medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
- Order and interpret lab testing
- Diagnose medical conditions and illnesses
- Promote total body health through education patients and families
- Rotating Call
- Lead role on an interdisciplinary team; work to build a program with decision making and implementing processes
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocols
- Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
