In this role, you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of assigned Day Habilitation sites, including weekly staff meetings, community support checks, and emergency protocol implementation.
- Provide direct supervision and support to Day Habilitation site supervisors, including coaching, training, and regular supervisory meetings.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring and training supervisory staff.
- Handle program personnel issues and systems, including payroll, PTO, performance evaluations, discipline, training, recruitment, and retention.
- Collaborate with the Customized Employment Department to support individuals' vocational goals.
- Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies and procedures.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Participate in or facilitate meetings, trainings, and committees as designated.
- Monitor the provision of ABA-related services and always ensure adequate staffing coverage.
We require:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Four (4) years of experience in I/DD or a related Human Services field
- At least one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with OPWDD HCBS waiver regulations
