POSITION TITLE: Compliance SpecialistTARGET START DATE: ASAPEND DATE: 6 monthsEXTENSION/conversion to Full Time Employment: PossibleHOURS: M-F 8am-5pm - no overtime--------------------JOB DESCRIPTION:RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):-Primary purpose will be to enter employee data into regulatory system and monitors data accuracy to ensure completeness and compliance.-The position is responsible for entering employee trading data into the firm compliance database. -This includes receiving and opening the mail, reviewing the contents for the necessary data points that require entry, keying in these details with 100% accuracy, and filing the processed mail in an organized manner for retention purposes.-The position supports a key requirement of trading compliance.-This position requires incumbents to follow existing procedures in a compliance environment to accomplish the objectives set by the Director of Compliance and other Compliance staff.-This position works under moderate supervision and does not supervise other staff.1. Receives, reviews and organizes broker mail for processing.2.
