Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer

GEE Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, particularly in working with sensors such as temperature and pressure gauges. This role requires an individual who can hit the ground running, with the potential to supervise one direct report soon.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electronics manufacturing projects with a focus on sensors including temperature gauges and pressure transducers.

Implement and optimize Six Sigma/Lean process improvement initiatives.

Utilize SolidWorks and DraftSight to create 2D drawings, 3D models, and 3D assemblies; FEA experience is recommended.

Employ Syteline for item costing, production routings, bill of materials, and standard cycle times.

Work with pressure transducers, load and torque cells, manual and automatic pressure controllers, and standard electronics equipment (meters, power supplies, scopes, etc.).

Perform soldering, utilize microscopes, and troubleshoot/repair electronic systems.

Design and develop Wheatstone bridge sensor circuits (preferred).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.

Proven experience with sensors such as temperature and pressure gauges.

Strong knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean process improvement methodologies.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and DraftSight for 2D and 3D modeling and assemblies; FEA knowledge is a plus.

Experience with Syteline, including item costing, production routings, bill of materials, and standard cycle times.

Hands-on experience with pressure transducers, load and torque cells, and pressure controllers.

Familiarity with standard electronics equipment and tools (meters, power supplies, scopes, soldering irons, microscopes).

Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems.

Preferred knowledge of Wheatstone bridge sensor circuit design.
