We are seeking an experienced, motivated, well-qualified Administrative Assistant or Office Manager to join our growing team You will oversee or help in overseeing project planning, scheduling, inspections, permitting, accounting, phone handling, email handling, office management, homeowner communication and project implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the field of residential construction, exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls
  • Apply and monitor permit applications online and at local county offices
  • Facilitate the construction schedule and specifications
  • Handle and coordinate active calendars
  • Schedule and confirm meetings
  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • Provide ad hoc support around office and field as needed
  • Assist accounting and bookkeeping teams as needed
  • Assist sales team as needed
  • Assist field construction team as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Basic Terms

  • The position ideally starts on August 5, 2024 but we are flexible and understand vacations may impact a start date
  • Salary is commensurate with experience but will likely start around $60k/year
  • Bonuses will be applied for strong performance
  • Health insurance, unlimited vacation days and other benefits
