What are we looking for in our Sr. program/project manager?

Title: Sr. program/project manager
Location: Seattle WA (3 days hybrid in a week)
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: $85 to $95/hr on w2 (depends on exp)

As a Senior Program Manager within the Technology Management division, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development of a cutting-edge platform to support the future endeavors of the organization. You'll collaborate closely with various stakeholders to structure, plan, and execute technical solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires expertise in managing complex enterprise programs and platform development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering high-quality results within specified timelines. Reporting to the Managing Director, Process Resilience and Execution, you'll also work closely with key Managing Directors across technology and the firm's CTO, while mentoring other project managers. This position demands exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for enhancing client and user experiences through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to develop comprehensive roadmaps for strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with work stream leads and PPA leadership teams to create, refine, and track program roadmaps and implementation plans.
  • Integrate with various technology teams to design, implement, and deliver a portfolio of applications and services enhancing client experiences.
  • Manage implementation activities across concurrent work streams, ensuring consistency and alignment with PMO standards.
  • Translate business use cases into functional specifications and collaborate with team leads on work-breakdown.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project success metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of Business Analysis, Project/Program Management experience, with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams independently.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, and/or CSM strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in asset management domain with experience in managing software delivery highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in successful and timely delivery of large, high-profile projects/programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to structure complex initiatives effectively.
  • Experience with Agile/Kanban/Waterfall Software Development methodologies.
