QUAD is seeking an Assistant Controller for a manufacturer located in Pottsville, PA

The Assistant Controller will be primarily responsible for financial and treasury support for assigned business unit. Manufacturing industry experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete various reporting, including month end and financial
  • Manage month end closing for assigned business unit
  • Assist with budget and five year plans development
  • Oversight of accounting and costing activities, including completion of cost variance to ensure standard cost accuracy, manufacturing trends identification, and trend analysis follow up
  • Provide treasury function support
  • Participate in capital project investment reporting and analysis
  • Create audit schedules, including coordination of both internal and external audits
  • Lead physical inventory project plan design, coordination, and reconciliation
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions

Skills/ Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree; CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • 5-8 years manufacturing industry financial and investment analysis and treasury support experience
  • Thorough knowledge of costing activities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong communication skills., both verbal and written
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
