The Regional Vice President of Account Management is a Leadership position accountable for driving net book growth within the regional and market segment and responsible for direct management of the Account Management team for the region.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for overall CSG Delivery
  2. Accountable for day-to-day leadership
  3. Accountable for Strategic Account Plans
  4. Accountable for Relationship Development
  5. Accountable for Renewal strategy
  6. Consulted on referrals
  7. Informed on day-to-day servicing
  8. Informed on Wellness coordination
  9. Informed on Client Solutions Implementation

Competencies & Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional understanding of full-range of insurance related products
  2. Exceptional understanding of regulatory and compliance matters
  3. Exceptional understanding of healthcare reform and related trends
  4. Exceptional ability to develop multi-year overall benefits strategies
  5. Very strong attention to detail, well organized and responsive
  6. Very strong ability to model financial implications from benefit programs
  7. Very strong ability to develop new and creative benefits solutions
  8. Very strong capabilities in negotiating with carriers
  9. Very strong oral and written communication skills
  10. Very strong ability to form relationships with "C"-Level Clients
  11. Very strong ability to up-sell services to existing clients
  12. Ability to negotiate with clients
  13. Ability to work well in teams
  14. Ability to lead client teams
  15. Ability to mentor team members
  16. Ability to effectively switch between clients and tasks
  17. Advanced working knowledge with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or 10 Years of Relevant Experience - RHU or CLU Preferred
  2. Minimum 15 years of experience with a health and welfare carrier or broker providing account management services and support to clients of 100 lives or more. Minimum of 15 years of experience managing Account Management teams.
  3. Appropriate Resident Life & Health License
