Position Summary

The Service Coordinator will lead the day-to-day execution of contracted opportunities for the Managed Services Team ensuring customers realize the benefits of the Securitas Healthcare Managed Services offering. The Service Coordinator will ensure that the company’s clients are matched and provided with the right services and schedule these services meeting customer expectations as well as company provided targets within the resources allocated.

Essential Job Functions

The Service Coordinator is required to…

  • Become familiar with the services that Securitas Healthcare (or third-party vendors) provide.  Regularly evaluate services being provided, staying abreast of which services are being introduced or discontinued.
  • Process incoming Basic Calibration orders and assist Sales as required to ensure customers receive best service option.  Coordinate calibration projects start to finish and record recognized revenue.
  • Evaluate quality of Managed Services offerings, identifying underperforming areas (if any) and propose improvements.  This includes expanding calibration services.
  • Match clients to the appropriate services and schedules by evaluating the clients’ needs based on orders and Client communications.  This involves video or conference calls to coordinate service scheduling.
  • Proactively reach out to the customer during contracted services execution to assess the clients’ satisfaction with the delivered services. This includes monitoring ongoing services through project completion.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues.  The ability to resolve complaints or issues key to customer satisfaction.  Resolution may require matching dissatisfied clients with new services better suited for their requirements.
  • Perform requirements analysis and develop action plans to execute.
  • Maintain a working partnership with Securitas’ calibration partner, Trescal, as well as support Securitas’ internal calibration lab.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Essential Education, Skills, & Experience

  • Associate degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of demonstrated service coordination and execution experience.
  • Can effectively communicate ideas and concepts to all levels internally and with customers and third-party suppliers.
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage concurrent projects often under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills a must.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills a must.
  • Strong record keeping skills a must.
  • Strong analytical and scheduling skills a must.
  • Experience in resource forecasting based on scheduled services a plus.
  • Experience with MS Office products required (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) a must

Nonessential/Preferred Education, Skills & Experience.

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ariba and SalesForce experience an asset.
  • General knowledge of Environmental Monitoring and Asset Tracking systems.
  • Experience in Healthcare administrative and operational environments.
  • Project or program management an asset.
