Customer Sales/Business Development - Inside
Our client has been in the fulfillment business for 20+ years, operating in 3 strategically placed shipping facilities, providing 1-3 day service to 95.7% of the US population. They have processed millions of residential deliveries over the last decade and recognize the importance of this service for brands as they increase a D2C focus in the marketplace. Their dedicated associates are pick, pack, and shipment experts focused on delivering FAST, EFFICIENT, TIMELY RESULTS for their partners.
Director of Sales
Our client is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Previous sales experience and logistical knowledge are required, along with a high degree of organizational and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Lead, generate, and grow the market share of all new 3PL accounts while creating personal value for their respective client base.
- Maintain contact with all new 3PL clients in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build trust and value, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate high integrity.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet the company’s core values.
- Proactively develop/establish and maintain effective communication and team relationships with 3PL customers, Customer Service, and Operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all 3PL sales and prospecting activity, including sales calls, closed sales, and follow-up activity, aiming to maximize opportunities in the sales closing process to establish new market shares.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of sales experience is required.
- 3PL knowledge is required.
- Telemarketing/cold call experience is a plus.
- Lead generation experience.
