We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our growing team as Office and Finance Manager. Reporting to the CEO, the hire will have the opportunity to lead the accounts payable and accounting functions and contribute to the company’s long-term goals and success. The successful candidate will be collaborative, highly motivated, and possess the desire to constantly improve processes with an emphasis towards financial and operational best practices. This is a full-time on site-position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Hire will be the primary internal resource on accounts payable, accounting and payroll related matters.
  • Lead the accounts payable function including monitoring the company’s AP inbox, recording and reconciling invoices, assisting with the approval of invoices and other matters.
  • Communicate with vendors as necessary.
  • Assist with, in conjunction with outsourced accounting firm, the monthly accounting close and the preparation of the financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in accordance with GAAP.
  • Take care of administrative work such as insurances, vehicle registrations etc.
  • Support the CEO on budgeting and financial planning efforts for the Company.



Qualifications

  • BS/BA in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in public or corporate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, reporting and compliance.
  • Proficient with Quickbooks online and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels within and external to the organization.
  • Excellent business acumen, and an ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment.
  • Excellent organization skills, very good attention to details and ability to see the big picture.
  • High personal integrity and strong work ethic. Excellent writing/documentation skills.
