Pardgroup is multinational field marketing and retail services agency, with offices in Italy, Spain, US, UAE, and the UK. We are looking for a candidate to join our New York office.


We are looking for someone to join our NY office. You will have a proven track record in successfully supporting a busy office environment, with previous experience in a finance department; ideally with a professional accounting qualification and broader experiences in supporting for example logistic duties.


The Finance Manager will be responsible for

  • Working with the MD, Operations Manager and external accountant to ensure accurate and timely budget management and financial analysis including quarterly and annual budgets
  • Providing and interpreting financial information - preparing management accounts, balance sheets, monthly P&L reports and cash flow forecasts
  • Overseeing aged debtors and creditors
  • Supporting and overseeing the team in raising and processing external and inter-company transactions, invoices and payments (in multi-currencies)
  • Inputting data accurately into our internal IT systems, with full control of purchase and sales ledger
  • Dealing with internal and external finance queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Carrying out (multi-currency) bank reconciliations and identifying and rectifying any issues
  • Reporting on and maintaining statistical data and KPIs
  • Owning renewals and one-off payments (e.g. insurances, taxing vehicles, safety certifications, etc.)
  • Assisting with developing, implementing, and maintaining office / Company procedures and policies, whilst proactively looking for ways to improve these processes
  • Liaising with our outsourced professionals (e.g. payroll provider, HR experts, etc.) to ensure all office matters including financial, HR etc. are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • Working collaboratively to support the team with general administrative tasks and office procedures as needed, including purchasing office materials, procuring supplies, and HR matters
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required commensurate with the position of Finance Manager


The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in financial control and reporting
  • Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Competent IT skills (ideally in financial software such as QuickBooks, Office notably Excel, databases etc.)
  • Proficient organisation skills with a methodological approach, essential for supporting a busy, multi-site, global office environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well (verbally and in writing) with sub-contractors, clients, partners, suppliers and colleagues, across various locations and at all levels within these organisations
  • A positive outlook and attitude
  • The ability to multitask and to work under pressure; always maintaining a cool head and integrity whilst prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are met
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An appreciation of the need to work with a high level of professionalism and discretion; strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
  • Knowledge of basic HR matters and document preparation would be a bonus
