As ShipTracks expands its presence and offerings, we seek a highly motivated salesperson to develop customer relationships, engage with the maritime community and exceed sales targets. 

Duties

  • Conduct B2B sales outreach to potential clients through various channels. 

  • Engage in upselling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts. 

  • Perform inside sales activities, including presenting product offerings and negotiating terms. 

  • Generate leads through market analysis and targeted outreach strategies. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. 

  • Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors. 

  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective sales strategies and achieve targets. 

  • Attend trade shows, seminars, and local networking events promoting ShipTracks 

  • Communicate customer needs with Marketing, Product and Implementation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product development needs are achieved 

  • Obtain complete fluency in our technologies, solutions and how they affect the industry and our customers 

  • Manage sales pipeline and CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years working experience in Sales with a proven track record of sales success 

  • Experience in the maritime, oil & gas, logistics, supply chain, or technology industry is preferred but not required 

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in Spanish is a plus. 

  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies. 

  • Experience in lead generation techniques and customer relationship management. 

  • A proactive approach with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive landscape. 

Desired Qualities

  • A solid understanding of the maritime industry is preferred 

  • An interest in maritime, technology, analytics, logistics, supply chain, oil & gas is a must 

  • Proven track record of outperforming sales quotas while holding high customer satisfaction 

  • Highly self-motivated individual with a driven, strategic and tenacious sales mentality 

  • Ability to listen to customers’ needs, proactively solve their problems and identify new opportunities 

  • Passion for sales, excited by interacting with new customers and fostering long-term business relationships 

  • Good organizational and communication skills 

Additional Information

Actual compensation above salary is dependent on the individual’s determination and perseverance in closing sales.
