Johnson and Johnson MedTech is currently recruiting for a Vice President, Program Execution Strategy for OTTAVA Surgical Robotics Portfolio based in Santa Clara, CA.

It comprises three key med-tech platforms: Flexible Robotics (MONARCH®), Surgical Robotics (OTTAVA™), and Digital Solutions. The VP, Program Execution Strategy, will support in identifying and shaping strategies and solutions that drive business growth and innovation in pursuit of the long-term business strategy. This role will report to the President, OTTAVA. You will also serve as key partner to the VP of R&D and the Ottava Platform cross-functional Leadership Team to ensure alignment, accountability and focus needed for effective execution of critical R&D projects and strategies. This position is based in Santa Clara, CA.
The primary objectives of this role include:
Strategy
• Identify and shape strategies and solutions that drive business growth and innovation in pursuit of the long-term business strategy.
• Work closely with OTTAVA Leadership to effectively drive strategic decisions and provide a strategic execution roadmap for the OTTAVA organization.
• Drive the implementation of governance, processes to organize and manage the OTTAVA program, including prioritization, resource allocation, and measurement against goals and objectives to ensure that business commitments are achieved.
• Partner with Finance to ensure close alignment on budget, resource forecasting and measurement as well as all financial processes related to unique business relationships and alliances
• Organize and manage the OTTAVA project portfolio, including prioritization, business case, resources, project timelines, deliverables, and metrics
• Accountable for securing trade-off decisions to help the team manage the triple constraint (time, scope, resources) and for appropriate escalation of challenges cross-functionally.
• Lead a team of project heads and project managers and be responsible for all aspects of the execution of the Ottava program.
• Accountable for Program execution of cross-functional Ottava Teams.
