Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Executive Assistant in one of the following office locations: Dallas, TX / Nashville, TN / Boston, MA / Andover, MA (hybrid opportunity)

What do you get to do in this position?

Provide high level administrative support for (4) of the organization's VPs, requiring discretion, confidentiality, broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of the organization polices. Typically supports multiple executive level that are potentially in multiple locations. Aligned with the Prosumer and Microgrid businesses.

* Answers telephone calls, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
* Gather, compile, verify, and analyze information for the executive's use in documents such as memos, letters, reports, speeches, presentations, and news releases.
* Facilitate smooth communications between the executive and coworkers and between the executive and external parties such as media, customers, and the public.
* Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares recommendations
* Will have access to the email accounts of supported staff to schedule their appointments and answer or redirect inquiries from internal or external sources.
* May be required to update and/or order office supplies
* May coordinate activities between departments and outside parties especially when working on setting up events such as team meetings or regional conferences
* Compiles and analyzes information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary.
* Advise, support, assist, coordinate, and collaborate on special projects which are highly complex, and involve creation and oversight of multifaceted teams.
* Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
* Must have the ability to be a 'Jack of all trades'. Must be able to juggle many tasks simultaneously. Must be able to plan, prioritize, and manage the multiple tasks that have been assigned to him/her before their deadlines. To save time, he/she will be expected to delegate the responsibility for efficient and time-bound management of activities.

Qualifications

This job might be for you if:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Expert ability using Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint and potentially Microsoft Project
* Experience with expense reports and accounts payable

* Strong organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
* Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and a high degree of initiative in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
* Knows how to leverage resources and delegates effectively
* Expert ability using Outlook or Lotus Notes
* Displays a positive and team first attitude
* Continuously seeks ways to enhance contribution to those they support
* Exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment and is capable of analyzing complex information requests and determining complex trends.
* Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature.
* Demonstrates a commitment to acquiring new capabilities
