We are looking for a Senior Wholesale Director, Replenishment Planning Walmart for a top fashion company in New York City. As the Senior Director of Replenishment Planning you will lead the team responsible for developing and executing replenishment strategies aligned with our overall business objectives. This role is pivotal to our success, overseeing processes and strategies related to replenishment financial planning, assortment planning, and in-season management. Your primary goal will be to optimize sales, margin, and inventory turnover through effective planning, forecasting, and inventory management. Additionally, you will play a critical role in driving organizational change and transformation in support of our growth initiatives. This position will be located on site in the New York office, and he salary range is 175-190k based on experience.

Responsibilities::Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the replenishment planning team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work cultureDevelop and implement replenishment planning strategies aligned with the brand's financial objectives, market trends, and customer demandOccasional travel to key customers to foster relationships, gather insights, and align strategies with customer needs and expectationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive replenishment plans that meet customer needs, align with brand identity, and maximize profitabilityOversee inventory levels and distribution across various channels and store formats to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventoryUtilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast demand accurately. Develop and refine forecasting models to improve accuracyAnalyze sales trends, margin performance, and other key metrics to identify opportunities and risks. Use insights to make data-driven decisions in replenishment planningWork closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and effective execution of replenishment plansLeverage appropriate replenishment planning tools, systems, and technology to enhance the replenishment planning process and improve efficiencyRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or MBA in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or related field10+ years of progressive experience in retail or merchandise planning, including prior management experienceStrong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting, financial analysis, and inventory managementExperience working with both mass-market and department store customers required, (Amazon a plus)Leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teamsProven track record in leading and managing organizational change, implementing new strategies, and driving adoption across teamsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsProficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, data validation, and macros, to streamline data analysis and reporting processesProficiency in using replenishment planning software and tools; experience with planning software implementation a plusBackground in apparel, accessories or consumer productsIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
