ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct unannounced visits to all local Texas Vaccine Providers (TVFC) to ensure that there is proper storage and handling of state vaccines. Assists local TVFC providers with their state vaccine orders and inventory, provide education and technical training on all aspects of the TVFC program and ensure proper storage of state issued vaccine. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED with minimum of two (2) years of experience. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.

Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.

This position is classified as Safety Sensitive. All employees in safety sensitive positions are subject to random drug testing, pursuant to City policy, HR 15.0 Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
