ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial analysis and financial statements on major departmental expenditure budgets and revenue accounts. Performs financial and management analysis; operations research and review as assigned. Completes budgetary tasks, i.e. processing fund transfers, human resources requests, and departmental requests. Reviews, monitors, and analyzes departmental requests and prepares budgetary recommendations to Director. Serve as budget liaison to assigned departments including distribution of information and correspondence. Provides support to Assistant Director and Director of Budget in responding to budget inquiries, including workshops. Assist in preparation and research for Quarterly Budget/Performance Reports. Assist with preparation and compilation efforts for annual Preliminary and Adopted City Budgets. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires Bachelor's Degree with minimum of four (4) years of experience. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
