SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

DutiesYou will develop, plan, promulgate, and interpret Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Navy (DON), and Navy IPO program policy and guidance.You will acquire, develop, and manage staff and supporting resources including planning, organizing and delegating work.You will design and implement security assistance programs which support mission requirements and customer needs.You will establish program goals and objectives; develop resource estimates; and determine resource allocations for assigned programs.You will analyze, coordinate, and recommend proposals and revisions to DOD, DON and Navy IPO strategies, plans, initiatives and policies for assigned programs.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 or GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience in accessing and providing strategic direction for resolution regarding foreign military sales, leases, grants and weapons transfer initiatives under the Security Assistance program.
- Experience in developing plans formulating goals and methods of evaluation and interpreting.
- Experience in developing plans and programs; providing guidance in areas of security assistance, technology security in support of Navy International Programs Office (Navy IPO) and the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development & Acquisition) (ASN (RD&A)).
- Experience implementing strategic plans within and across organizational components (i.e. Congressional, State, and OSD).
