Details of Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • $27.00-32.00 per hour based on level of prior accounting related experience
Key Responsibilities of Accounts Payable Clerk:
  • Process accounts payable transactions including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable activities and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and vendor statements, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any issues or inquiries.
  • Assist with preparing reports and documentation for audits.
Qualifications for Accounts Payable Clerk:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar Accounting type role.
  • Prior experience working with an ERP computer system (example: Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
