Job Description
What you will do :
The Sales Manager for Mobility Aftermarket-Wiper Business Unit is responsible for driving sales growth, leading price negotiations, and developing strategic partnerships with two Japanese OEM customers, four European OEM customers, and one OEM North America customer. This is a highly visible role which is critical in driving business outcomes. Your initial focus will be customer pricing negotiations. You will manage the sales process, identifying new business opportunities, maximizing current business, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting revenue and EBIT targets.
- Negotiation and Closing:
- Lead negotiations with customer to secure contracts and agreement aligned with EBIT targets.
- Sales Strategy Development
- Assist Global Customer Team Lead in developing and executing sales strategies to reach yearly acquisition target and maximize CAGR.
- Development and alignment of pricing strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as primary point of contact for customer inquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain, and increase relationship building and strategic simulations at customers in coordination with engineering team.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports to track performance against targets.
- Responsible for accurate Salesforce planning for each customer (volumes and pricing).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering, production, project management and product management functions to support customer needs.
- Team Leadership
- Mentor and lead a team of sales representatives, providing training and support to enhance their performance.
- Foster a positive team environment focused on achieving sales objectives.
Qualifications
Experience & Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing client relationships and successful cost concession negotiations.
- 5+ years of progressive direct OEM sales experience or internal associates currently or previously in Talent Pool 1.
- Minimum two years experience directly managing a team or internal associates currently or previously in Talent Pool 1.
- Experience with technical products and solutions (wipers experience preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Bosch and competitor products (preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of market and product applications.
- Highly effective communication, persuasion and problem solving skills.
- Tenacious in pursuing goals, undaunted by failure, and willing to look “outside the box” to solve problems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
