Product amp Technology PR Specialist

Job Summary:

The Product & Technology PR Specialist will be responsible for all product communications including launch planning content creation and creating events/news/features to showcase BYDs product and technology. This position requires thorough knowledge of the UK media and automotive landscape and ideally five years or more experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Product team to execute highimpact product launches
  • Managing and creating media assets including press kits and image libraries
  • Working with internal stakeholders to generate product and technologyrelated news
  • Key point of contact for media enquiries
  • Creating bespoke events to promote BYDs model range and highlight BYDs technological innovations including trips to HQ in Shenzhen

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Universitylevel education preferred but not essential
  • At least five years working in communications or journalism roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong understanding of UK media landscape; strong understanding of the automotive industry; interest in current affairs
  • At least five years of communications or journalism experience
  • Creativity and openmindedness
  • Able to adapt quickly according to business requirements
  • Strong teamwork mindset
