About the role:

We are seeking an Operations & Procurement Associate with experience in the pharmaceutical skincare and/or cosmetic industry to support strategic sourcing and procurement operations for Healthxchange.

The Procurement & Sourcing Associate will support the Operations & Procurement Manager in managing supplier relationships and performance whilst identifying costsaving opportunities to ensure the reliable supply of highquality pharmaceutical products. The role involves maintenance and distribution of all departmental KPI metric and supplier performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis whilst working across departments and with the Sourcing & Procurement Manager to ensure all data and reports are valid and a fair representation of both the department and suppliers performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in tandem with the Operations & Procurement Manager to identify and source new suppliers in the pharmaceutical industry based on quality costeffectiveness and reliability
  • Manage the endtoend supplier approval process ensuring strict quality control and compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations
  • Report on supplier performance through key data metrics providing constructive feedback to drive improvement
  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Operations Team to monitor and enhance supplier OTIF (OnTime InFull) performance
  • Working collaboratively with the Demand Planning Team to ensure optimal product availability across the Healthxchange estate
  • Support the Procurement & Sourcing Manager in all departmental activities where required
  • Maintain a comprehensive product range regularly reviewing and updating the range in line with market trends and business requirements
  • Ensure that Healthxchanges procurement operations align with its overall operational and strategic goals
  • Support the Groups procurement strategy to become the single point of contact for all spending against products and services within Operations
  • Champion cohesive planning across all Group Operations.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain / procurement operations preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Sound understanding of the pharmaceutical industry including quality control regulatory compliance and market trends
  • Experience in supplier sourcing supplier relationship management and reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make datadriven decisions
  • Budgeting skills with a track record of commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments
