Amplifire Strategies is currently a small, but rapidly-growing, team based in Washington, DC and Columbus, Ohio. You will work directly with firm leadership and have the opportunity to truly make a difference in servicing clients, grow our firm, and take on increasing responsibility.


What we are looking for


We are looking to bring someone on board who gets the internet and can help our clients amplify their message through various creative products. These will most often be short videos and graphics for social media and paid media. Additionally, work may include brand identity, print ads, marketing collateral, logos, motion graphics, copywriting, script writing, and more.


We want someone who is hungry to grow, because we are. We get that you’re not going to be an expert on everything we’re asking for - but we will give you the freedom and opportunity to learn and grow. We want you to contribute to the team in more ways than just making creative. We want you to be comfortable giving ideas even if they’re outside your lane.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with a team of experts for our corporate, non-profit, and advocacy group clients across the country.
  • Use your strong design skills to meaningfully contribute to client campaigns by creating visually appealing and impactful assets, including but not limited to social media graphics, branding, print collateral, presentations, and storyboarding.
  • Craft compelling narratives with mixed sets of assets (footage, motion graphics, news clips, scripted voice overs, etc.) to create consistent, high-quality videos.
  • Animate original motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms.
  • Consistently keeping up with trends and latest best practices across digital platforms.


Qualifications


  • You must be fluent with internet culture and have an opinion on what works in regards to reaching and influencing people through creative.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, AfterEffects, etc.)
  • 0-3 years of experience working on creative for digital marketing campaigns 
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates a diverse range of work
  • Curiosity is a must. We are a small, fast-paced firm and you will need to be self-motivated to learn about our complex clients and the problems we’re trying to solve.
  • Growth mindset is something we all have, and want to make sure you have the desire to constantly be teaching yourself new things, learning from others, and taking initiative
  • Desire to learn how to use AI to help 
  • While not required, the ideal candidate will have Nice to have some political experience (Capitol Hill, government, campaigns, non-profits, advocacy, etc.)


Salary commensurate with experience

Location: Washington, D.C. or Columbus, Ohio, 3-days a week required to be in-office
