The Kalmar Group is excited to partner with Fireside Dental Co. for their first Director of Customer Success. These opportunities do not come often and we are eager to find this next leader to join their momentum
“Fireside” is a start-up group purchasing organization committed to improving the operations and profitability of pediatric dentists. Their team delivers exceptional value and service through a servant leadership culture, and they are looking for a passionate Director of Customer Success to join their team.

Summary of Role:
As the Director of Customer Success at Fireside, you will be the primary point of contact for their valued customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction with their services. You will collaborate with various internal teams and vendor partners to address customer needs, manage accounts, and drive customer engagement.
This is a unique opportunity to be a trailblazer and be on the true ground floor with a company that is building a foundation for long term success. This person reports directly to the founders and core responsibilities listed below:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their goals and challenges.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Onboard new customers, ensuring they understand how to effectively use our procurement software and services.
- Proactively identify and address customer issues to prevent churn.
- Monitor customer usage data and conduct regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction and annual renewal.
- Advocate for customer needs and provide feedback to internal teams to improve our services.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services
⭐️ Requirements for Consideration
- This is not a remote role and this person will be expected to be in the office helping grow the Customer Success team and business alongside the founders.
- 5+ years of experience in B2b customer success or account management
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships via telephone and/or video technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM software is a plus
