Title: Sr. Program Manager
Location: Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week 8am-5pm PST
Duration: 12 month contract plus ongoing extension
Pay: $63 - 73/hr
Must Haves:
- 7+ years in Program Management in the IT Industry
- Background in Agile and working with Agile teams
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Experience working as the liaison between different stakeholders
- Background in Product Management is a plus
- Identification, backlog management, staffing key roles and successful planning and executing of program increments.
- Solid knowledge of Agile management and virtual collaboration tools. (e.g. Jira and Jira Align).
What you’ll do in your role:
- Work alongside key leadership roles to organize and develop the Agile team that supports development values streams, integrate with Agile Release Trains
- Join daily standups to become engrained in initiatives
- Support our coaches in the adoption of Agile product management and servant leadership values and practices.
- Coach, mentor, and train Scrum Masters in the skills needed to facilitate key team level events such as Product Backlog grooming, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Product Roadmap development and support PI Planning.
- Drive widespread adoption across the whole Innovative Data Solutions organization of Lean and Agile mindset, values, principles, and practices
- Actively participate as member of the larger coaching team, contributing towards consistent guidance and practices.
This telecom mogul is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join their Agile Transformation team. Their Enterprise level IT Organization oversees all the data systems and applications used by both the business and our customers. One of their largest initiatives is a large scaled Agile and Digital transformation that is widespread across all teams within IT. Insight Global currently has a large team of Agile Coaches, Product Managers, and Solutions Architects helping build and execute on enterprise-wide transformation efforts. This PM will step in to help manage the day to day of the team, be part of daily standups, sit in on leadership meetings to help ensure our coaches and PMs are aligned on all the new initiatives. They will also act as the single POC for this company and Insight Global to provided additional support and Agile Practices as asked by the customer. This person will need to be incredibly adaptive and flexible to understand the unique situations this team faces and adjust accordingly. It is a very dynamic role and have someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills required.
