Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a VP of Sales for North America to boost their regional presence, increase sales, and meet revenue goals. This role requires a strategic leader with a solid background in sales management and a good understanding of renewable energy, especially green hydrogen technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management and Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and vendors to ensure competitive and profitable contracts. Review and adjust contracts to manage risks and meet legal requirements.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up with market trends, competitors, and industry changes in green energy solutions.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales. Prepare and share detailed sales reports with senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks in the sales process and develop strategies to handle them.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Create and apply sales strategies to hit revenue targets and grow the market.
  • Pipeline & Deal Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities. Develop strategies to increase the success rate of deals.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in both finding new business and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Comfortable working closely with general contractors and understanding contracts.
  • Proven sales management experience.
  • Passionate and dedicated to the company's mission.
  • Able to handle large contracts and understand their commercial aspects.
  • Experience in the energy industry.


Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial contracting and starting work only after receiving purchase orders.
  • Comfortable interacting with general contractors and understanding their contracts.
