Inside Technical Sales Rep. I

The Inside Technical Sales Representative has the opportunity to join an exciting, established company with a record of fast growth. The Inside Technical Sales Representative is responsible for developing relationships and responding to the needs of our customers in a professional and timely manner.
The Inside Sales Technical Representative we need has a gift for effective communication and building consensus pro-actively. A. Essential Functions
- Responds in a timely manner to all customer inquiries including quotes and quote revisions and Orders and order/product issues from customers.
- Supports and coordinates with assigned Regional Sales Manager(s) to determine and/or clarify project quoting, requirements, pricing, and strategies.
- Interfaces with other individuals and departments in the organization to obtain support and commitment for customer inquiries.
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management) documentation including communication with customers and prospects following up on all customer requests and activities and customer feedback (negative or positive).
- Maintains product knowledge and familiarity with products, literature, and catalogs.
- Maintains proactive and positive rapport with customers.
B. Additional Role Responsibilities
- Responds to all inquiries from customers whether telephone or email.
- Processes standard Industrial and HVAC customer orders.
- Performs other clerical duties and projects as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.
- Reports recurring incidences to Inside Sales Manager.
C. Minimum Qualifications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a customer service and/or quotations position.
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Technical aptitude as it relates to the basic understanding of mechanical equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a deadline-intensive environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience in Oracle applications or similar Enterprise Resource Planning system. We will provide training.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
