The Inside Technical Sales Representative has the opportunity to join an exciting, established company with a record of fast growth. The Inside Technical Sales Representative is responsible for developing relationships and responding to the needs of our customers in a professional and timely manner.

A. Essential Functions

  1. Responds in a timely manner to all customer inquiries including quotes and quote revisions and Orders and order/product issues from customers.
  2. Supports and coordinates with assigned Regional Sales Manager(s) to determine and/or clarify project quoting, requirements, pricing, and strategies.
  3. Interfaces with other individuals and departments in the organization to obtain support and commitment for customer inquiries.
  4. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) documentation including communication with customers and prospects following up on all customer requests and activities and customer feedback (negative or positive).
  5. Maintains product knowledge and familiarity with products, literature, and catalogs.
  6. Maintains proactive and positive rapport with customers.



B. Additional Role Responsibilities

  1. Responds to all inquiries from customers whether telephone or email.
  2. Processes standard Industrial and HVAC customer orders.
  3. Performs other clerical duties and projects as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.
  4. Reports recurring incidences to Inside Sales Manager.



C. Minimum Qualifications

  1. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Experience in a customer service and/or quotations position.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  4. Technical aptitude as it relates to the basic understanding of mechanical equipment.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills.
  6. Able to work effectively in a deadline-intensive environment.
  7. Good organizational skills.
  8. Experience in Oracle applications or similar Enterprise Resource Planning system. We will provide training.
  9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
