We are currently looking for result-driven retail Sales Design Consultant for our Sunnyvale location. Do you genuinely enjoy customer service? Have an eye for interior design? A typical day as a Sales Design Consultant at the Floor Store may include the following:

  • Actively seek out and greet customers in the showroom.
  • Work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Process POS purchases using QFloors database program.
  • Promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.
  • Work with customers on special orders, returns, or exchanges.
  • Continue learning and staying up-to-date on product features.
  • Assist with maintaining the showroom’s visual appearance and high standards.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Proven work experience in Retail Sales (Home Improvement or Construction industry a plus)
  • Solid communication, written and interpersonal skills
  • Have experience and are comfortable with a commission-based pay structure
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • Proficiency in basic math and technology
  • Knowledge of flooring a plus

Physical/Sensory Requirements

  • Ability to exert 20-60 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl



Compensation:

The first 3 months of employment are considered an introductory period. Compensation will be based on a guaranteed rate of $25-$35 per hour, determined based on experience, plus a reduced commission percentage. After the initial introductory period, the pay structure will change to a $20 per hour Draw Against Commission, with commission earned on a sliding scale. This structure offers you the opportunity to earn over 100k
