Sales Consultant/Designer

A home improvement business, specializing in prefabricated Sunrooms, Enclosed Patios, Pergolas, and similar products is in need of a seasoned Sales Consultant/Designer who is skilled in high-value sales.

This is a commission/bonus paid position reporting to the owner.

Responsibilities:

·         Travel to and from prospective customers' homes, delivering a personalized and professional experience.

·         Identify customer needs and tailor presentations using proven sales techniques.

·         Conduct in-home design and sales presentations, building trust and educating customers on high-quality home improvement products.

·         Negotiate and close sales effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.

·         Participate in daily sales meetings and coaching sessions to continually refine your skills.

Qualifications:

·         Ability to Close: Must be capable of closing at least 25% of provided leads.

·         Sales Process Mastery: Deep understanding and application of the consultative sales process for large ticket purchases.  Sales experience with the following is helpful:  Solar systems, Windows, Pools, Backyard Landscaping, Decks, Stucco, ADU’s, Kitchen Remodels.

·         Strong Communication Skills: Effectively convey ideas, value propositions, and project details to ensure client understanding and build strong relationships.

·         Persuasive: Successfully overcome objections and convince clients of the benefits of your proposed solutions.

·         Design Skills: Ability to create tailored designs that meet the client’s unique needs.

·         Independent: Demonstrates initiative and drive to achieve personal and professional goals.

·         Resists Defeat: Handles rejection or setbacks with resilience and maintains motivation.

·         Maintains Professional Demeanor: Upholds a professional demeanor throughout all interactions, building client confidence.

·         Sets and Achieves Goals: Establishes and pursues clear goals for sales and project success.

·         Follows Up Persistently: Ensures timely and consistent follow-up with clients to maintain relationships and close sales.

·         High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

·         1+ years of sales experience preferred, but not required—we provide comprehensive training.

·         Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

·         Reliable transportation and a cell phone is essential.

·         Basic computer and math skills.

·         Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (e.g., product samples).
