Overview:

The Finance Operations Manager (FOM) oversees several key business processes in the Finance department to ensure data enablement to support internal and external reporting needs that support financial decisions.


Key Tasks:

  • Is the primary contact within Doner for financial business processes; supporting agency training initiatives and helping to optimize process and partnerships across the organization.
  • Oversees revenue recognition process to ensure all documentation and data points are captured. Helps to ensure complete and accurate assessment of revenue for month-end close.
  • Assists in the development of agency planning including departmental budgets, scope and resource planning, revenue forecasting.
  • Develop & maintain KPI dashboards for executive leadership on financial performance and provide ongoing insights and recommendations.
  • Lead client hours reporting according to contractual requirements as well as regular reporting of progress against scope for internal review.
  • Oversees utilization reporting and proactively partners with department leads to address any areas of concern.
  • Provides oversight on unbilled inventory, partnering with Client Accounting and Account teams for timely reconciliation and billing to support optimal cash flow.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate reporting with a scalable approach.
  • Works with finance department team members on month-end close activities and other key areas of collaboration.
  • Administrator support for workflow systems.
  • Oversees compliance protocol and process follow-through, identifying and actioning any potential gaps.
  • Contributes to the development of monthly revenue projections.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.


Competencies:

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in advertising. Finance or Operations experience preferred.
  • Must be self-driven and proactive; able to manage self in a remote working environment.
  • Experience with MS Office; with high proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, reliable, responsible, accurate with attention to detail.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of staff and team members.
  • Flexible and a team player.
