They are actively seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team and report to the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will have experience with onboarding and offboarding, benefit administration, and assisting with payroll. This is a wonderful contract opportunity, and we are looking to fill the role as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process.
  • Manage recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
  • Assist with benefits administration.
  • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Assist in managing workers' compensation injury claims, file reports with insurance provider, maintain accident information, and monitor progress.
  • Create and maintain complete and confidential files for each employee.
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
  • Develop and maintain talent management processes.
  • Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources.
  • Healthcare experience required.
