We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAP Business Analyst to join our client's team, a globally renowned retail company that is revamping its supply chain operations.


**This is a direct-hire position with HUGE perks - including half-day Fridays for every full-time employee (clock out at 12pm CST)**


The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring SAP modules and working with S/4 HANA, even if it's just demos or POCs. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with other teams and manage various aspects of SAP configuration and implementation. The candidate will be instrumental in driving process improvements and ensuring that the SAP system meets business needs effectively.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure the S4 TM system according to business requirements.
  • Analyze and document complex business requirements and perform impact analysis.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom S4/SAP development and for interfaces to other applications.
  • Develop use cases, test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
  • Execute test plans and test scripts/cases to ensure system changes align with business requirements.
  • Configure within SAP to solve ticket requests.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions.
  • Take an active role in change control processes for testing and implementing system changes, fixes, enhancements, etc.
  • Work with the EDI team to implement new EDI transactions/trading partners.
  • Collaborate with business partners and users to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate with S4/SAP and internal IT resources on critical/complex issues.
  • Mediate across different IT and business teams utilizing knowledge of roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Execute best practices for business analysis processes and functions, including requirements elicitation methods and understanding emerging trends.
  • Continually build knowledge and stay abreast of current Supply Chain & SAP functionality, capabilities, and technologies.


Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a SAP Analyst with proven experience configuring any SAP modules (preferably TM, but not a must-have).
  • Complete understanding of the integration points between SAP’s core modules and the inter-dependencies around Finance/Controlling, Order Management, and Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Core participation in full life cycle SAP implementations, achieving production status.
  • Ability to think in terms of “process” and “best practice” rather than just function, along with a solid understanding of end-to-end processes like “order to cash.”
  • Adept at developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing business solutions, while achieving deadlines and budget goals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is innovative and quick to learn.
  • Occasional on-call availability for project go-live and off-shift support.
