Accounting Manager.

$110-125K plus 10% bonus


  • We are actively seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our growing team.
  • We seek an individual who is familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. Someone who can rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals and has the ability to perform complicated tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.
  • Research complex US GAAP accounting and reporting topics
  • Compile and manage reporting packages for lenders and investment partners
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity
  • Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
  • Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
  • Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.


Requirements

  • CPA and public accounting is preferred
  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
