The ‘PBT Technical Lead- NextGen’ will be responsible for providing technical leadership on end-to-end development & delivery of new insurance products & capabilities enabling new business opportunities and operational efficiencies utilizing DevOps and SAFe Agile on the Client.IO Platform and its adoptions with various lines of business. This role is also responsible for all integrations and interfaces upstream as well as downstream supporting business objectives along with legacy modernization initiatives to the Client.IO stack.
This role will require the candidate to technically lead globally distributed development teams to deliver products and services in the most efficient way possible.
This role requires hands-on knowledge of building cloud-native applications using open-source technologies, strong technical background, design thinking, seamless execution, strong relationship management and effective communication capabilities. The Sr. PBT NextGen Technical Lead will be accountable for planning, directing, and coordinating medium to large-scale, moderately complex projects; ensuring that the goals and objectives are accomplished with high quality, within established time frames and meet customer and/or business needs. The Sr. Technical Lead will design and implement products for continuous delivery of features and capabilities aligned with business priorities.


Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.
  • Overall 10 years of IT experience.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in Insurance domain (P&C) with implementations in new business and renewals business processes.
  • At least 3 years of cloud native application development using docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in Causality & Property lines platform/systems implementation is preferred
  • Experience in technology stack such as Java, Spring Boot, Camel, Camunda, Drools, XML, CSS, XSLT, Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana (ELK), Unqork, Prometheus, Grafana etc.,
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Microservices & API Mgmt., Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure and DevOps process is required.
  • Good knowledge of Data & Analytics technologies such as Data Lakes, Business Intelligence Tools, Predictive Models, 3rd Party Data.
  • Experience in development of REST based APIs using Open API specification and/or creating specifications w/swagger
  • Experience in configuring DevOps continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • Perform complex troubleshooting of critical problem tickets, resolving defects in existing production software and provide root-cause analysis
  • Hands-on experience working with code quality and code coverage tools/frameworks
  • Understanding of how to secure webapps and APIs using OpenID/OAuth2.0 standards.
  • Experience in caching technologies and search is a plus
  • Ability to motivate team members and effectively delegate responsibilities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Excellent written/verbal skills and demonstrated ability to meet commitments under pressure.
